Dear customer,

It is bad enough that products might develop a fault, so we try to make our returns or repair service as painless as possible. All products purchased from DIFOX have a European guarantee. Therefore you can contact the national branch of the respective manufacturer directly in the event of a service case. Handle your service case directly and save shipping costs and time. (due to shorter transport routes.) If you prefer DIFOX to handle your service case, we ask you to consider the following information / steps to guarantee a smooth and prompt processing of your return.

Return of goods for repair

Authorization:

  • Please fill out the RMA form completely and email it to service@difox.com

  • A detailed fault description is required! We are not able to handle unclear complaints.

  • When requesting an RMA service for multiple products, each product will be assigned its own RMA number. Authorized products can be returned together.

  • Unauthorized returns without an RMA number will be returned at your own expense.

  • An assigned RMA number is valid for 14 days. Items received too late will be refused and must be returned without further notice

Shipping:

  • Enclose the RMA request form including all RMA numbers with your shipment.

  • Please add end customers invoices.

  • Please send your return well packaged and use a traceable, insured service. We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit.

  • If possible, use the original package for secure and safe shipping.

  • Please note that return postage charges are non-refundable.

  • Devices that contain lithium batteries may have to be classified as group 9 dangerous goods and labelled accordingly for return transport. Defective lithium batteries must under no circumstances be returned without taking precautions.

  • Petrol powered devices must be fully discharged prior to return.

  • Steam cleaners and wet vacuum cleaners must be sent in empty condition (without water inside, without filter bags, all containers/tanks must be emptied).

  • Pallet shipments must be pre-advised by phone (+49 9302 9868-140).

General information:

  • Repairs (either under warranty or with a cost estimate) will be carried out in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions or according to law.

  • A brief testing is required before returning the faulty goods. If there is no failure found, a service fee will be charged!

  • No Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) policy possible

  • Defective items will be forwarded to official repair services. They reserve the right to repair, refund or to provide replacement of similar value (refurbished)

  • You are solely responsible for the deletion of any personal data on any storage media.

  • In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.

  • We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

  • Please note that a cost estimate is subject of charge even in case of refusal.

  • We reserve the right to charge a fee for the disposal of items you refuse to repair.

Return of goods for credit note

If you have ordered items by mistake and want to send them back for credit note we will carefully check if a return is possible.

  • Please fill out the RMA form completely and email it to service@difox.com

  • We reserve the right to refuse your request.

  • Items that have been ordered especially for you or are discontinued cannot be returned for credit.

  • The packaging and the content of the returned items must be in perfect condition (with original seals, without any damages).

  • Enclose the RMA request form including all RMA numbers with your shipment.

  • Please send your return well packaged and use a traceable, insured service.

  • We cannot take responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit.

  • Devices that contain lithium batteries may have to be classified as group 9 dangerous goods and labelled accordingly for return transport. Defective lithium batteries must under no circumstances be returned without taking precautions.

  • Accepted items will be credited either with a discount or a restocking fee will be charged. You will receive this information together with your RMA number.
